Manchester United transfer news: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘ready to sell Anthony Martial’ over poor attitude in training

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has lost patience with Anthony Martial and wants to sell the forward this summer, according to reports.

The Sun claim the Frenchman’s bad attitude in training has infuriated the Red Devils boss, who admitted after Sunday’s woeful 1-1 draw at already relegated Huddersfield that people might have seen the last of some of his players.

Martial was not part of that matchday squad, and United will reportedly actively listen to offers for the France international in this transfer window.

The Red Devils bought a then 19-year-old Martial from Monaco back in 2015 in a world record deal for a teenager worth £36million rising to £57.6m – based on goals and achievements.

Martial scored 17 goals in his maiden season in Manchester, but he has failed to live up to expectations since then.

He signed a new five-year contract in January, with his previous deal due to run out at the end of next season. A number of suitors were understood to be eyeing a move for the young forward.

Martial will not be the only player part of Solskjaer’s summer transfer exodus, with Man United also desperately trying to find a way to flog Alexis Sanchez, who is reportedly paid around £500,000-a-week.

Ander Herrera and Juan Mata are already on their way out of Old Trafford with their contracts up and no new deals agreed.

United̢۪s draw at Huddersfield means they missed out on a Premier League top four finish and will be in the Europa League next season.
