Messi started on the bench for their league match at Villarreal and, despite going 2-0 up after 16 minutes, found themselves 4-2 down heading into injury time.





Luis Suarez scored their third to cut the deficit before the Argentina international stepped up with a pinpoint free-kick into the bottom corner to rescue a point for Barcelona.
