“You need to be very, very close to perfection to win the Premier League as long as this is the case,” he said. “But we made unbelievably big steps and I really expect more to come, that’s the truth. What that means at the end, I don’t know.”

City boss, Pep Guardiola, said this title triumph was the toughest in his trophy-laden career to date and thanked Liverpool.
“Because they help us to push and to increase our standard from the last season. Because to compete against this side, this team, we should do what we have done, so incredible.”
However, all is not lost for Klopp’s side, as they have a Champions League final to contest, against Tottenham, on 1 June.
