So much so, that Sports Bar host Andy Goldstein thought it was a wind-up.
But it wasn’t. He was serious. Seriously.
Cameron: “I’m a Liverpool fan and because it been such a gripping title race, I just thought, we should get a trophy even if we come second this year.â€
Andy: “Hahaha!â€
Cameron: “Why are you laughing, mate? If we get 97 points, that’s the best – apart from City last year – anyone has got. Alex Ferguson never got that many points and Jürgen Klopp has come in… it’s phenomenal, especially against this City team who have spent all that money.â€
Andy: “What should the trophy be called?â€
Cameron: “Like… Premier League joint-winners? Well, not joint winners… you don’t need to name it, just give it to Liverpool.â€
