Barcelona mock Manchester United with brutal tweet after Lionel Messi delivers masterclass

Barcelona delivered a masterclass at Camp Nou to breeze past Manchester United and progress to the Champions League semi-finals.

A brace from Lionel Messi and a trademark Philippe Coutinho curler sealed a brilliant win for the Blaugrana in Catalonia.

And it’s safe to say the official Barca social media team are revelling in their victory.

They have just aimed a not-so-subtle dig at the Red Devils and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer by posting a picture of their talisman with the caption: “Messi at the wheel”.

The tweet is aimed at United supporters and their new chant for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – which is a version of Waterfall by the Stone Roses and begins with ‘Ole’s at the wheel.’

The phrase has somewhat become a slogan in and around Old Trafford since the Norwegian’s appointment, and it was prominent particularly after Man United’s victory over PSG in the last round.

Arsenal begun the trend after they beat United 2-0 in the Premier League last month, subbing in the name of Emirates boss Unai Emery.

And now the Catalan giants are having the last laugh with their remake of the chant featuring their very own Argentine superstar.
